The house – built in 1912 – is a pleasant construccion in french “bahareque” style with traces of neoclassical influence. In 1972 the building was declared national monument.

The museums displays artifacts of historical importance expecially concerning the period during which the first social reforms were inmplemented .

In the museum we can find a modern auditorium: a space for conferences, workshops, exibitions and concerts.
