Paquera
Paquera is mainly known for its small harbour where ferries and passenger boats connect its shores to Puntarenas.
The village does not offer much in terms of attraction, however Paquera has always been a hub of activities focused on agriculture with its intense production of fruits and cattle raising. It is also the home of various community and environmental proyects.
Just few miles away from Paquera on the road to Cobano you will find the entrance to Curú Private reserve.
Visit the beach at Curú and get a boat from there to Tortuga Island!
