One of the first fusion restaurants in town, Café Mundo is housed in a nice colonial mansion. Each of its large rooms is nicely decorated with artworks. Tables are also spread around the nice veranda and gardens. Café Mundo is always filled with a broad mix of San José's bohemian, theater, arts, and university crowds.
