Local Charters in Costa Rica: Sansa Nature Air

Costa Rica is served daily by several international and domestic carriers.

From the US and Europe daily direct flights are available as are those with stopovers in Miami, Houston and/or in Central and South American countries, i.e. Panama and Venezuela

At present, three airports are scheduling international connections:

The major one is Juan Santamaría Airport located in Alajuela 20 mins. from downtown S.José.

The second largest is the “Daniel Oduber International Airport “ (phone 668 1010) located in Liberia Guanacaste and the third is the “Tobía Bolaños International Airport” located in the suburb of Pavas/Rohmoser, right in the heart of S.José.

Two major domestic airlines, Sansa and Nature Air, provide reasonably priced air travel within Costa Rica. Government owned and subsidized Sansa's fares are significantly cheaper than those of its privately owned rival, Nature AIr.

Sansa Regional LogoSansa operates out of Juan Santamaría International Airport and offers domestic and international flights.

Nature Air LogoNature Air operates from Pavas Airport Tobías Bolaños and also offers domestic and two international flights to Granada, Nicaragua and Bocas de Toro, Panama.
