Río Pacuare:
The Pacuare River is one of the best choices for your adventure treks in Costa Rica . Another trip in the country does not exist that offers you a perfect blend of wilderness exposure and excitement, both in one day.
Extreme White Water:
Combine either a one or two day Pacuare trip with the Pascua section of the Reventazon for one of the best white water trips you can find in the world. The 54 kilometers (33 miles) has over 80 rapids which is definitely hard to beat! Overnight will be spent at one of the charming mountain lodges in the area.
Rio Reventazon:
This is one of Costa Rica 's top rivers. It has the hardest commercial runs in the country, as well as the biggest white water. With over 65kms (40 miles) of rapids, it has two different sections to choose from: Pascua and Florida . All of them are one day trips easily done from San José or the Caribbean Coast , or better yet to be combined with another trip. They are described from bottom to top, as difficulty increases.
Río Pascua:
After paddling the Pascua section of the Reventazon River , adventurers agree that these are the best rapids they have conquered. A classic, big water run, Pascua is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat, literally! And when we say big, well, we will let you decide what exactly our definition of big means. For example, some of the waves on this run are bigger than the raft.
Sarapiqui:
Neighboring La Selva Biological Station, the Sarapiquí River offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities. This mid-elevation, southern Caribbean area is of great importance, of which value is measured in terms of its biodiversity. It hosts many different kinds of wildlife such as: toucans, waterbirds, monkeys, sloths and butterflies.
Arenal Volcano and Tortuguero:
We have daily departures from San José , the Caribbean Coast and the Arenal Volcano, giving you the choice to start and finish at the place of your convenience. Half way between these locations is our Exploration Center , a private base for our descents.
