Hotel "El Marañón" is located in the quiet and little village of Trinidad, between Piedades de Santa Ana and Ciudad Colon following the old royal road. We are at just 20 min. from San José downtown and from Juan Santa María International Airport.

Hotel "El Marañón" is the ideal place to start or end your vacation in Costa Rica. The Hotel counts with the Tourist Sustainability Certification CST following an ecological concept which reflects on building materials, natural ventilation and light, a solar system for heating water and recycling of waste.

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of comfortable accommodation in a shady garden that is literally overflowing with tropical vegetation, fruit trees, exotic birds and butterflies. Look across the Central Valley and savour the fantastic view that stretches right up to the Poás volcano.

There are 14 rooms, all of them with a double and a single bed are situated in our garden, with their own patio and bathroom. There are also 2 two-room apartments for families. Our hot water supply is powered by a solar system.
