Hotel Parador Resort

Nestled high above the Pacific Coast on a majestic bluff in the town of Manuel Antonio is a 12 acre boutique resort and spa called Hotel Parador. It features elegant Mediterranean-style architecture modeled after the traditional Spanish "paradores" and quaint European “boutique hotels." Built in 1995 with 57 rooms, Hotel Parador recently completed its final phase of construction for a total of 108 rooms and suites.

Hotel Parador has been a celebrity's getaway in Costa Rica; visitors have included the likes of Don Johnson, Charlie Sheen, Lorenzo Lamas, Eric Roberts, and Jacquelyn Chiafullo.

Hotel Parador is laced with lavish décor and amenities. The infinity pool has a majestic view of the Pacific Ocean with a wonderful swim-up bar. There is also an additional pool -- the “adult pool” -- that shares the same spectacular view.

Room views vary, but the room with the nicest view is room 423. It is a premium plus room with a king-size bed and wrap-around balcony.

An outside elevator takes you to the top (unless of course you want to take all 115 stairs from the lobby).

Manuel Antonio Beach

The views are breathtaking: boats, birds, and sunsets. Bring your binoculars for viewing all the fishing and sail boats that grace the waters of Quepos.

The “Pacific Spa” adjoining the adult pool enjoys panoramic views overlooking the rainforest. Spa amenities include: small, modern gym, five air-conditioned treatment rooms, steam room, Swiss shower, whirlpool, plunge pool, lockers, and a relaxation and yoga area. The “Pacific Spa” has everything to cleanse the body and soothe the soul. The beach is a ten minute walk down the hill and well worth the trek.

The beach is hidden in a secluded bay and you will find the most breathtaking white sand beach bordered by tranquil turquoise waters on one side and jungle on the other. We recommend you bring snorkel gear; for the fish are abundant in the calm waters.

In general, the customer service orientation of the bilingual Parador staff is excellent. All in all, a visit to the Hotel Parador is a most worthy endeavor
