Tabacon Hot Springs

At the base of Arenal Volcano lies a Garden of Eden: Tabacon Hot Springs.

One can stroll along beautiful botanical trails and bathe in steaming waters along the way or sit under a 20 meter wide tumbling waterfall, all with a spectacular silhouette of Arenal Volcano.

Take your pick from numerous bathing pools – from the boiling hot to the luxuriously warm. All waters are heated from the depths of the active Arenal Volcano.

Upon entering Tabacon, you encounter a large manmade pool with a swim-up bar that is also heated from the hot springs.

Dining is available in one of their two restaurants including an excellent evening buffet. By night, Tabacon is truly a romantic's dream and a sight to behold. The steam rises from many of the numerous springs while you bathe.

If you’re lucky, the sky will be clear and you will be treated to a breathtaking lava show from nearby Arenal. Tabacon is truly a must-see.
